Information for Teens All teens and parents are invited to the Teen Summer Expo and it’s free! There’s no pre-registration, so just come to the Washington-Lee High School gym on Saturday, April 28, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. (There is plenty of parking in the Washington-Lee lot on N. Stafford St., in the Ed Center lot, and in the lot over I 66 that is next to the Ed Center. Washington-Lee is also very near the Ballston stop on the Metro orange line and is accessible by Metrobus.) Hundreds of jobs and volunteer positions will be advertised at the Expo! Some employers will be at the Expo and want to meet you, but will not expect you to interview that day. There will also be representatives there with information on work permits, County and state employment services for teens, and employment professionals who can give you tips on applying and interviewing for jobs.
